![]() ![]() Overall – a flippin’ fabulous product for $2.99 that I sorta think everyone should have a try of. However, $2.99? Plus it’s better than a sponge I guess. It’s just a little bit harder to squeeze out than a normal pump concealer and you probably waste a bit of product. The applicator is a stupid brush thing which I absolutely hate, however I combat this problem by squeezing it straight onto my beauty blender/brush/finger. I did find the formula on the yellow and green coloured shades can get a little bit watery and you can’t really mix it around very well unless you put it on the back of your hand first which is a pain. It lasts all day on me and sets really well so that it doesn’t move around or transfer. It’s probably a little bit too thick but you could combat this by blending it with a fairly damp beauty blender, and only using a teeny tiny bit of product. My eyes are super creasy but I don’t find it creases too badly on me which is fab. It has fantastic coverage and it’s nice and creamy and long-wearing. The formula seems sort of thick but it blends out really well so you don’t need too much product. For that price, you may as well give it a try, right? $2.99 – well, you can’t really go wrong can you? Even $12 in NZD is pretty sweet. (See what I did there?)Īnother PRO is the price point. There is literally a shade for everyone and everything. I think that the shade range is absolutely fantastic in this product line. It’s actually a fantastic under eye concealer and finally it comes in a shade light enough to do a spot of highlighting on my pasty skin! I use the shade Porcelain most often as I use it to highlight under my eyes. It’s the best place to buy if you’re from the US but if you’re from NZ .nz is slightly more expensive but much faster shipping. I used to buy them from where they are $2.99 US. They are $12 from .nz which I think is pretty decent for NZ prices. I have purchased a range of shades in this product line because I really do love the concealer so much. However you can see me try (and maybe fail) at a bit of cream contouring and I’ll swatch and review the concealers for you – how does that sound? Everything I know, I’ve learnt from Shaaanxo (we all know shes basically a makeup goddess). I am totally not a contouring professional. ![]() I’ve talked about these before in a really old post here but I’ve since picked up a few more colours and used them for over a year so I feel like I have a good understanding and appreciation for the product now. Today I thought I’d have a go at contouring with the L.A. ![]() 10/10 would recommend.(I thought I should use a variation of greetings to start my posts seeing as that is what we do in class!) So all in all, I completely agree with all those who are saying these concealers are amazing because they honestly are. It comes in the form of a brush, which you squeeze the product up into before brushing onto the face, so its super easy and super convenient which I honestly love! I think probably my favorite thing about these concealers is the applicator. I ended up going with three highlight colours and three contour colours, SwatchesĪll of the concealers are incredibly creamy and pigmented, the provide great coverage, for something so cheap. I figured I could use the four shades that didn’t match me as a part of my freelance kit, so I was more than happy to purchase six different shades. I’ve always just used my trusty old Hoola bronzer to contour, but have been eager to give cream contouring a go so my search for these concealers being sold at the perfect price began.Īfter searching for a few hours I hit the jackpot on eBay, finding a seller that was offering 6 shades of your choice for just under $30AUD including shipping! ( Heres the link if you’re interested). I have also seen a lot of people not only using this concealer as a highlight, but buying darker shade and contouring with it as well. On multiple occasions I have seen this concealer compared to MAC’s Pro Longwear Concealer, which I have never tried myself but have heard its pretty darn good and can proudly wear the ‘holy grail’ status. So naturally I thought I’d write up a quick little first impression of these babies. Once again it seems like I am almost the last person to join the current ‘trend’, but none the less, i have finally caught up and purchased myself the much raved about LA Girl Pro Concealers. ![]()
